I was surprised to see the PS3 and 360 so close too each other. What with all the tales of the PS3 not selling and how it was on the verge of collapse.

The only region the PS3 isn't putting up a fight with the 360 is the US, so I guess that says something about where most of the negative articles arise.

Moral of the story is the PS3 is doing just fine.

As far as I know, Brown is second only to turquoise. Stupid yellow is at the bottom. Yellow's just lame.

"If you don't know what I am talking about then you have obviously never turned on the TV."

Or don't live in America...?

Anyway, good news really. Will probably shut most haters up until next month...

*More Spoilers*

I was relieved that Snake didn't die. I really didn't want him to die. I was welling up and everything.

Yeah, but at least with a dead horse you get that satisfying squelch. Here you'll just get a plasticy tap, which is no fun at all.

When sixaxis is done well, it really adds to the experience. It was cool in uncharted for balancing and the minigames in RnC, like hacking the terminal things, were pretty fun as well.

Besides which, I somehow doubt that when the decision to put sixaxis support into a game is made, the devs then have to cross something off their list of wanted features.

"Why not focus on making the game itself better, maybe some more exclusive content or some extra sheen?" ...

Damn, never though about the old toe tap. I once completed a whole race on GT with just my feet, you know...

And back on topic, yes MGS4 is WICKED AWESOME!!!

My point is that if you want to continue to expand your HD library with future releases, you're going to need to move to Blu-Ray.

...It was a joke...

But if you put down the controller, you won't be able to activate the flashbacks... Ha! A flaw in your logic right there! Bet you're feeling pretty stupid, eh? EH? Thought so!

No but seriously, MGS4 has a lot of cutscenes. But I suppose the fact that the 90 min cutscene rumour got me excited shows you how I feel about that.

Number 1: You're backing a dead horse... moron...

Are you completely simple GuiltySpark? It's common knowledge that platform exclusive games, in general, are better than multiplat games. Regardless of console, a game developed specifically for one piece of hardware is going to be better than one that has to cater for a wide range of different specs.

Seriously, shut up, you're making yourself look like an idiot fanboy.

You're saying that from the point of view of the consumer, we shouldn't want developers to make the best game they can? If that means staying exclusive or not, it still comes down to people wanting better games.

I'm a little nervous about this whole thing tbh. I just hope that Kojima Productions don't lose their identity in this reset.

Controller: same except for Sixaxis slapped on after Wiimote. - I'll give you that one.
Hard drive: added after Xbox - Which was added after PC... Hard Drives in consoles was the next step. Infact the PS2 had a slot for a hard disk built in from the start so you're wrong.
Dashboard: added after Xbox 360 - PSP had the XMB before 360 had the Dashboard. PS3 developed on the PSP's XMB.
Online: added after Dreamcast - It was, yes.
Home: added long after Xbox Live - Would ma...

Yeah, this isn't helping anybody.

But 0.8 is pretty funny.

I think the best thing to do is to find the lowest rated 360 game and boost the score up. Just for a laugh.

If they left in in Private Beta, people would be all "Oh look, Sony delayed Home again. Sony never keep their promises!" and if the released it without all the features people would be like "Oh look, Home is such a let down because it doesn't have any of the things Sony promised us (which, for the most-part, they actually didn't), Sony never keep their promises!"

That's what people call a Catch 22. At least this way, people can actually get a feel for Home.

"Home promised to revolutionize the online community"

You got the tense wrong. It should say "Home PROMISES to revolutionise the online community" That's 'promises' not 'promised'. You talk about it like that's it. Like what we have now is all we're going to get.

I can't be bothered going through all of this AGAIN, because there are so many people like you out there that just refuse to remember all the times that Sony said that when the open beta ...

You know what my New Year's Resolution is going to be? It's going to be "Don't get involved in these things anymore."

So this will be my last comment on any of this console war BS:

I was more than happy with how the PS3 did. It provided me with good games that kept me going all year. That's all I need to care about.

So you're the kind of person who would only rescue the pretty children in the burning orphanage? It doesn't matter how it looks (I actually think it looks alright. Not great, but not "the ugliest thing I have ever seen" either), what matters is that it works. And it works pretty well.

Surely that isn't an issue if you are even slightly used to using any QWERTY keyboard? I've got one, and it is a little fiddly, but that's because the buttons are just a little too small and THAT's because the unit couldn't be any bigger. Also, I don't think that it's positioning is bad at all. It's easy just to shift your thumbs up from the sticks.

It's still a damn sight easier to use than the on-screen keyboard as well.
